Peter Bookholt, C.C.P.M., C.C.I.

CEO & President

Peter Bookholt is the CEO & President of National Group and has over forty years experience in the emergency services, construction and consulting services fields. This experience includes, but is not limited to emergency services, estimating, construction management, reconstruction, consulting, and mechanical/electrical and roof evaluations for insurance companies and private industry on projects throughout the United States.​

He has formed and managed Catastrophic Teams to service insurance companies and private industry during several major hurricanes: Andrew, Erin, Marilyn, Opal, Bertha, Fran, Bonnie, George, Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne, Katrina & Wilma. Mr. Bookholt has overseen many forensic investigations concerning catastrophic-related damages. This includes fire, hurricanes, hail damage, wind, collapse and explosions.

Mr. Bookholt has also served as an umpire and appraiser on numerous cases for insurance carriers and private companies. In addition, Mr. Bookholt has participated in conference workshops concerning the appraisal process and its final resolution. Mr. Bookholt has also prepared and taught workshops in construction management, construction defects and how to inspect roofs for hail damage. He also was listed as an honored professional of the national directory of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals in 1996 and 1997.​

Mr. Bookholt is a certified EIFS applicator inspector and has participated in the manufacturing, application and installation of EIFS systems since the 1970s. He has overseen projects in Texas, Pennsylvania, Louisiana and Florida. He has prepared estimates for repairs to EIFS, to retrofit EIFS and to install new EIFS systems. Mr. Bookholt is a professional member of the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI) as well as a member of The Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, Inc. (RICOWI).

Mr. Bookholt has held several licenses such as an Asbestos Contractor License, Ahera Asbestos Supervisor License, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response License, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response - Supervisor/Incident Command License, and Florida Insurance Adjusters License. Additionally, Mr. Bookholt has been certified as an EIFS Third Party Inspector and Moisture Analyst, Certified Construction Project Manager, Certified Construction Inspector, Certified Construction Consultant, and Certified Umpire by Windstorm Insurance Network.

Mr. Bookholt is a member of several associations and organizations including, but not limited to: Roofing Committee on Weather Issues, Inc., Roofing Consultants Institute, Windstorm Conference, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Pre-stressed Concrete Institute, and National Roofing Contractors Association. He has taught the following seminars: “Re-cover and Moisture Analysis”, R.C.I. Region 2 Seminar, RICOWI Seminar Energy Durability, Hail & Wind, R.C.I. 16th International Roofing Convention & Seminar, PLRB National Mold Symposium: The Truth About Mold, R.C.I. Building Envelope Symposium, and several Windstorm Conference seminars.

Mr. Bookholt has also given several depositions and has been qualified and participated as an expert witness on the state and federal level in several legal matters for insurance carriers and private industry.
