What's taking so long in the Panhandle of Florida?

About one year ago, Hurricane Michael hit the Panama City, Florida area. It was devastating to many businesses and residences along the gulf coast, especially Mexico Beach, but Panama City (across the bridge) was also hit very hard. While, we have completed our clients' restoration projects in the Panama City, Florida area, we still have clients' claims that have not been paid out and closed out. Despite numerous calls and emails to adjusters and providing all relevant information to them, these claims have stagnated and remain unpaid. It's very sad that after these large scale disaster that many insurance carriers in the market have done such a poor job managing their clients' claims. Thankfully for our clients, we always complete our projects regardless of the payment delays from their insurance carriers.
