Demian Larson

Mr. Demian Larson is the COO of National Group and has over fifteen years experience in the emergency services, construction management, reconstruction and the consulting and expert services fields.

This experience includes, but is not limited to emergency services, construction management, legal and accounting services, and project management for insurance companies and private companies in insurance reconstruction and other construction related matters.

Mr. Larson has worked on and managed several large projects for insurance and private companies including, but not limited to universities, condominium associations, home owner's associations, nursing homes, and high rises. Mr. Larson understands the construction process from emergency services to auditing a construction project and and has previously represented numerous construction clients from owners to suppliers in various types of matters including collections, delay claims and construction defect claims. He has also investigated and retained experts in hundreds of legal matters in his representation of insurance carriers and insureds in insurance subrogation matters from fires, roof collapses, equipment failures, explosions and other subrogation related disasters. In addition, Mr. Larson has participated in conference workshops concerning the insurance subrogation industry, insurance claims process, property appraisals, roofing, water restoration, mold remediation and hazardous materials response.

Mr. Larson has been an insurance subrogation litigator and business transactions attorney with several national law firms and his responsibilities included representing insurance carriers and insureds in large subrogation losses against legally responsible third parties. Mr. Larson has also been in the investment banking and financing business and has successfully raised hundreds of millions of dollars for various private companies from technology companies to real estate development companies seeking growth and expansion capital.  Mr. Larson remains an active investor in new business ventures. 

Mr. Larson has a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana and a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in accounting from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Larson is a licensed attorney, and is member of the American Bar Association, Construction Law Section.  He also holds a Certified Public Accountant Certificate and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.  Mr. Larson also holds state General Contractor and Roofing Contractor licenses as well as certifications as an umpire by the Windstorm Network, a water restoration technician from IICRC, a mold remediation supervisor from American Indoor Air Quality Council, and a hazardous materials response technician from the Northeast Florida Safety Council, Inc.
