Connie Bookholt is the CFO of National Group and has over thirty years experience in the emergency services, construction and the consulting services field.
This experience includes, but is not limited to providing project management, contract administration, and construction billing as well as professional accounting services including business interruption claims, conducting audits for insurance carriers and insureds on large construction projects, forensic accounting and fraud investigations. In addition, Ms. Bookholt has been appointed as an appraiser, an expert witness, and participated in several arbitrations, mediations and appraisals.
Ms. Bookholt has provided project management, contract administration, construction billing for large scale commercial projects all across the United States. Ms. Bookholt has also provided auditing services in areas of construction contracts, including large reconstruction projects. She has focused on providing audit services for insurance claims to determine accuracy, duplication and coverage issues.
In the area of business interruptions claims, Ms. Bookholt has provided consulting services for numerous types of entities, including hotels, restaurants, laundry establishments, retail stores, communication companies and various others. Ms. Bookholt is an all lines adjuster for the State of Florida, which assists her in understanding policy and coverage issues, as well as the accounting aspect of business interruption claims. Ms. Bookholt has also provided forensic accounting involving the reconstruction of financial information from source documents and verification of financials.
Ms. Bookholt has also provided fraud investigation concerning fraudulent documents, fraudulent insurance claims, as well as establishing financial motives for criminal activities such as arson.
Ms. Bookholt has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington, School of Business, Arlington, Texas and is a member of AICPA, FICPA and the Association of Fraud Examiners. Ms. Bookholt is also a state licensed Certified Public Accountant and a state licensed Insurance Adjuster. Ms. Bookholt is also a state licensed General Contractor and Roofing Contractor.
